You need to consider that the uncounted voted will favor peltola and most probably give her an advantage, both heikel and the other sullivans voters arent putting sullivan in their ranked lists at all really

Alaska has a ranked ballot system. If no candidate wins at least 50% of the vote, it will go to a second round, they will start counted people's second choice and so on. It's harder to predict.

Yeah, but heikel was positioned to become a protest, they literally told heikel voters to leave it blank and not vote sullivan, and a number of republicans mentioned protest votes by voting heikel or sullivan jr
